Rhythm as Stasis

“Rhythm as Stasis” is the collective works of Tosaki’s ten years photographic activities. With a concept of rhythm as composition Tosaki has been exploring the concept of ‘photography as music’ This might sound strange, but if you think of the ‘image’ in music, in photography, and in object, it should not sound strange at all. In this sense my photography contains music internally (at least Tosaki feels that way). RinkoLinco keeps extracting new aspects from the photographic images and his sound also stimulates Tosaki to trigger “aspect-dawning”. ”Rhythm as Stasis” は私の十年来の写真の集大成です。リズムをコンポジションとして捉える事を信条に、イメージが向こうからやってくるのを逃さずシャッターを押しています。音楽としての写真という表現は奇異に聞こえるかもしれませんが、音楽にもイメージがある、写真にもイメージがある、又被写体にもイメージがあると考えると奇異でもなんでもありません。私の写真には既に音楽が含まれています（少なくともそのつもりです）が、Lincoさんが独自にすばらしいイメージ・アスペクトを引き出してくれています。Lincoさんの音源はわたしにとって、アスペクト・ドーニングの連続です。写真と音のコラボレーション。皆様是非お楽しみください。
